A Book Deal, by Golly.

Me on Mount Kilimanjaro for the third time, raising money for Global Alliance for Africa's AIDS orphans programs.

It still doesn't really feel real.  I've been trying to share my story with publishers for seven years, knowing others would find inspiration, healing and bravery from my three treks up Mount Kilimanjaro as a plus-size adventurer. And here it is.

Seal Press will publish my memoir, Gorge, in Spring 2015. That seems like a long way away but, trust me, it will be here before we know it. Anyway, I have so much to do and share with you along the way. I thought you might enjoy the process so I'll blog my way through the book release and beyond.

Meanwhile, I have lots of adventures in the works -- including one so big and wonderful but I must stay mum about until it actually happens. But I promise I'll talk about I here, with you.

In the meantime, it feels, well, like I'm on top of the world!
